OCBHS Founder Lenny Berry began his career in the music industry, working as a marketing specialist for major labels such as Universal Music Group, Def Jam Recordings, Capitol Records, and Interscope, just to name a few.

In 2019, his robust experience in music, events, and grassroots marketing culminated to produce the first Ohio Cannabis Health and Business Summit–which has grown to more than 4,000 attendees and 100 exhibitors over the years.

He also launched one of the industry’s best off-site networking mixers at Cleveland's iconic Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2023–which promises to be bigger and better in 2024. (More info here!)

With all eyes on Ohio and its forthcoming adult-use launch, Berry has a unique perspective on what makes the Ohio industry successful, and how to form a community to foster meaningful conversations and facilitate positive change.

Cassie Tomaselli serves as OCHBS’ communications advisor, assisting with event programming and public relations.

Tomaselli has worked in the cannabis industry since 2017, helping grow one of the nation’s most respected trade publications as well as one of Ohio’s prominent vertically integrated cannabis companies.

Today she owns the boutique content marketing studio Tomaselli Media, where she assists cannabis and purpose-driven brands with meaningful and authority-building content.
